Fire & Safety Systems are fire protection consultants, engineers and project managers, specialising in high-risk industrial applications. Our experience extends to over 900 assignments, in over 35 countries, spanning over 20 years.

Project Manager, Fluor Canada “I first worked with Fire and Safety Systems (FSS) in the early nineties on the Century Zinc project in Queensland Australia. Since then I have encountered FSS a number of times particularly in relation to fire protection of mineral processing plants, especially pre-fabricated electrical substations. I knew if FSS had done the fire protection design that I did not have to look into this side of things any further. Brad and I worked on the Alcan Gove Stage 3 expansion and as always he gave the required expert advice to provide cost effective protection to the assets being protected.”

“Through Fire & Safety Systems, FSS provided fire protection services for Barrick's Pueblo Viejo Project. They worked to qualify and quantify all of the fire protection equipment required for the "dry" material areas of the Plant. Aside from the technical expertise that FSS brought to the project, they were open to discussing new ideas to further improve on the design or alterative designs which could be used to lower project costs. FSS’ staff were team players, and were well received by other members of the EPCM project team. Should the opportunity arise, I would consider using their services on another project.”
